T29 Business Update

With August approaching, we have exciting news to share! Business is booming and demand is increasing each month, therefore we are taking on more staff to enable us to maintain a high level of customer support.

As of August 3rd, director Harry Chevins will join the team on a full-time basis and will be training as an HGV driver so we can realise our ambitions to expand the fleet beyond the vans we currently offer. To facilitate this move, Transport 29 will also need to employ a qualified Transport Manager so that we can ensure we can hold our Operators Licence, and we have already identified the ideal candidate. Whilst we’ll be making you wait for the official announcement on who’s got the job, we can reveal that we are honouring our earlier promise to employ a female Transport Manager to help improve female representation in Logistics and management roles.

Whilst we track Harry’s progress on his driving course, we will be taking the necessary steps to get ready for a larger vehicle in our yard, and we hope to have an 18tn lorry as part of our fleet in the coming months. We feel that having a larger, more diverse fleet will allow us to offer new and existing customers a greater range of options. In the meantime, we will continue to offer all the same services, including same day delivery, next day delivery and nationwide delivery.
