HIAB - Lorry Mounted Crane
HIABs are lorry-mounted cranes, used for offloading heavier & larger items from flatbed trucks. The use for these varies, but includes shipments such as containers, hot tubs, farm equipment.
Moffett / Manitou – Lorry Mounted Forklifts
A moffett or manitou is a lorry-mounted forklift truck. This means the lorry driver has the facility to load or offload themselves. We often supply these where a collection or delivery point does not have the facilities to offload, such as a building sites.
*please note for specialist vehicles it is not always possible to source same day, we ask you give us as much notice as possible, ideally 2 weeks.

We will always try to get a signature and the full name of the person accepting the delivery. Where this isn’t possible, a receiver stamp or a picture of your consignment will be our next port of call, to make sure you have complete peace of mind that your goods were received in a condition your customer was happy with.
